Ivan Ivanovich is sent to the centre of the earth in his atomic exploration capsule, the Little Orpheus. He vanishes for three years and then suddenly reappears, claiming to have made all sorts of inconceivable discoveries! We join Ivan as he faces the terrifying General Yurkovoi in a dark interrogation room and begins to spin a fantastic story about lost kingdoms, underground oceans, mad explorers and ancient civilizations…
