3 Adventure Gamers Who Deserve Their Own Slot Game

The development of top slot games is not easy but compared to other types of online casino games, such as roulette, baccarat, and blackjack, slots offer plenty of room for creativity. We have seen famous fictional characters including Superman, Blade, and Iron Man all have their own slot game but what about leading characters from adventure video games? Read on as we bring you three adventure gamers who deserve their own slot game.

Nathan Drake

The Unchartered video game franchise is one of the most successful Sony PlayStation video game series of all time. The first game in the series was released in 2007 and called ‘Uncharted: Drake's Fortune’. The title features the name of the main character and protagonist, Nathan Drake, who has become a mascot for the PlayStation. Drake is one of the most likable characters in video games today thanks to the way he reacts in various situations within the games. For example, Drake will struggle to jump over obstacles, sometimes stumble when running, and comment on the absurdity of the situations in which he finds himself in the game. These are just some of the features that could make for an excellent online slot game. Drake could appear on the reels in different poses and elements of his personality could shine through depending on how the reels land. There could even be special bonus games within the slot that include elements of the different games, such as locations. With such a likable personality and massive fan appeal, Drake deserves his own slot game, but for players looking for gaming thrills in the meantime can play smart with USA real money online casinos from Resource America.

We must go back to 1986 to find the first appearance of Link in The Legend of Zelda. The game was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System and later ported to the GameCube and Game Boy Advance. Having sold over 6.5 million copies, The Legend of Zelda was an enormous success and the protagonist, Link, become a household name among gamers. Link is traditionally seen in the games wearing a green tunic and cap, holding a sword. The way Link looks on screen has changed over the years in terms of his graphic design, as he started in the pixel world of the NES. However, that gives slot developers a range of options, and they could go down the retro route or opt for something more modern. The retro look would be an excellent choice as the slot could be pixelated in design, with the classic sounds related to the original Zelda game. The reels could feature Octorok monsters, magic rings, swords, magical recorders, and Link himself.

Lara Croft

Lara Croft first appeared in Tomb Raider; a video game released in 1996 by Core Design. A British archaeologist, Croft is often compared to Indiana Jones in that she is adventurous and visits tombs and other ancient sites around the world, often fraught with danger. Much like Link, Croft changed over the years with the introduction of new Tomb Raider games that took advantage of improvements in graphics. Icons on the reels could include special artifacts, gold coins, snakes, and a compass. Croft could feature next to the reels, ready to jump into action in the bonus game. It is unlikely that Angelina Jolie or Alicia Vikander, both of whom portrayed Croft in films, would be willing to get involved but there are many versions of the character in the Tomb Raider video game series that would look great next to the reels. She could move into various positions and smile or look disappointed depending on the result of the spin.
