Herald: Book I & II
In an alternate 1857, Devan Rensburg works aboard The Herald, a ship sailing towards the Eastern Colonies. Devan is tasked to look after and interact with a diverse cast of opinionated passengers and crew, but The Herald is a microcosm of 19th century society: As he scrubs the decks, raises sails and assists passengers with their trivial issues, he is continually reminded of his mixed-heritage.
